Description
Key Responsibilities: 

1. Inventory & Store Operations
  • Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing goods as per hotel standards
  • Maintain proper stock levels and avoid shortages or overstocking
  • Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) and proper stock rotation practices
  • Support in regular stock counts and inventory audits
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area
2. Goods Receiving
  • Verify quantity and quality of incoming materials against purchase orders
  • Check for damages, expiry dates, and compliance with specifications
  • Coordinate with departments for timely delivery of materials
3. Documentation & Record Keeping
  • Maintain accurate records of stock inward and outward movements
  • Assist in updating inventory systems (ERP/Excel)
  • File invoices, delivery notes, and purchase documents properly
4. Purchase Support
  • Assist in preparing purchase requests and follow-ups with vendors
  • Help in sourcing materials as per hotel requirements
  • Support in comparing vendor quotations under supervision
5. Coordination
  • Work closely with kitchen, housekeeping, engineering, and F&B departments
  • Ensure timely issue of materials to departments based on requisitions
6. Cost Control
  • Minimize wastage, pilferage, and damages
  • Support in monitoring consumption patterns
