Description
DUTIES
  • Receives items/stock as per schedule and verifies quantity.
  • Checks item/stock quality and monitor this on an ongoing basis.
  • Works closely with the Purchasing Department
  • Keeping the storage and receiving areas clean and tidy at all times
  • Issues lines with items/stock as per production plan.
  • Maintain clear and organized records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly
  • Maintains housekeeping and layout according to company standards.  
  • Ensures that all store requisitions are signed by concerned department heads and approved by FC/GM depending on the hotel’s operation procedure
  • Ensure stock quantity issued matches quantity requested
  • Posts all invoices using Materials Control
  • Adhere  to all Health and Safety procedures particularly relating to food and beverage
  • Administrate various systems within the stores

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric  or equivalent qualification
  • Basic computer skills
  • Familiar with Materials Control
  • Have a good eye for detail
  • 2-3 years experience in a similar position within Hospitality Industry
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written skills
  • Flexible and able to work shifts
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Yes I Can! attitude
