Description
  1. Repairs and maintenance of all types of refrigeration equipment such as centrifugal chillers, air-cooled chillers, walk in cold-room and freezer rooms and other commercial/industrial refrigeration equipment.
  2. Repairs and maintenance of air conditioning equipment such as window units, package units and fan coil units.
  3. Carries out electric arc or oxyacetylene welding.
  4. Carries out air conditioning and refrigeration preventive and routine maintenance.  Attends to repairs and maintenance of refrigeration equipment electrical control system.
  5. Attends to all types of repair and maintenance work in the hotel premises, including any new additional/extensions to the hotel or any other properties maintained by the hotel.
  6. Responding to a guest maintenance request within 5 minutes on receipt of the same.
  7. Ensures that the supplied uniform is clean and in good repair.  Always maintain a clean and tidy appearance before entering a guestroom or public areas.
  8. Ensures that the plant rooms, workshops and related areas are kept clean and tidy condition.
  9. Observes prescribed safety standards.  Helps maintain safe conditions for self and others.
  10. Ensures compliance to Hotel Standards and Specifications.
  11. Maintains and enforces all quality, service standards and procedure for Engineering Service.
  12. Ensures guest complains are collected and actions upon in order to delight our guests and avoid repeats of the same.
  13. Ensures that all SOPs and Best Practices are followed at all times.
  14. Participates on reviews and evaluates all Engineering equipment and supplies periodically to select appropriate products for purchase
  15. Ensures that all equipment’s are maintained as per the manufacturer Operating Manuals to ensure productivity at all times.
  16. Ensures consistent and accurate inventories are taken in accordance with the Hotel policies and procedures and documentations are complied.
  17. Prepares reviews and submits all reports in a timely manner.
  18. Ensures that all preventive maintenance and general cleaning programs/ schedules are in place and executed accordingly.
  19. Ensures that the maintenance schedules are adhered to, updated and reviewed on monthly basis.
  20. Ensures Zero defects in the rooms.
  21. Ensures Room Perfect Program is adhered to.
  22. Ensures the highest level of safety and security by facilitating effective training programs that delivers a high degree of awareness amongst staff.
  23. Ensures that the department key control procedures are strictly adhered too.
  24. Ensures that the environmental initiatives are adhered to in the workplace and participates in community activities and programs.
  25. Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
