Job description

Steward / Diskare

As a Steward, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our guests receive the highest level of service and satisfaction. We are looking for you to join our team at Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel in Stockholm.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
  • Ensure all dishes, glassware, and silverware are cleaned and stored properly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, pantry, and storage areas.
  • Handle and dispose of waste according to established procedures.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
  • Perform additional duties as requested by the management team.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a steward or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
