Radisson Dubai DAMAC Hills is looking to strengthen our team with a passionate Head Mixologist for the No.1 Peruvian Restaurant-ISSEI

We are proud of our 481-room hotel (90 suites) overlooking the Trump Golf Course, within the DAMAC Hills Community in Dubai Land. Our hotel and all our 4 F&B outlets have been awarded the Trip Advisor Traveller’s Choice Award for 2024. To create many a memorable moment for our guests, we have 4 F&B outlets, which are all in the top 2% ranking for restaurants in Dubai - Fire Lake Grill restaurant which is a top steakhouse, Hessa St. Kitchen- serving authentic Asian favourites a la carte, Hills Pool Deck and also Issei – a trendy Nikkei fusion restaurant & bar, at our rooftop with a seating capacity of 50 and has ranked as the No.1 Peruvian restaurant in Dubai.

Who are we looking for?

We are on the lookout for a Head Mixologist to shake things at our No.1 Peruvian restaurant-Issei and be the alcoholic potion master (a.k.a Beverage Master) for the hotel and also leading the Issei service team. You will be a key player in crafting our awesome beverage line-up and making our place a bigger hit than it already is. Your leadership, creativity behind the bar, on the floor and drive to excellence are what make our guests keep coming back for more. This is not just about shaking and stirring — it is about crafting liquid happiness, one drink at a time.

What you will do

  • Lead by example in crafting innovative and high-quality cocktails that align with our brand and what our guests love.
  • If you are up for an exciting challenge then you will be the senior most service member you will be the backbone of the operations behind the bar and on the floor
  • Train bartenders on our unique recipes, mixing techniques, and presentation standards to ensure consistency in drink preparation and presentation
  • Our niche and trendy concepts our not only limited to our food and drinks but we also believe in creating a complete sensory experience through chic glassware and stylish presentations. This focus on aesthetics and ambiance sets us apart in a competitive market.
  • Provide clear guidance and direction to the bar team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Team up with management to develop and update the cocktail menu, ensuring it reflects our brand identity and current beverage trends.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to make sure our drinks and food are a match made in heaven.

Skills you will need:

  • Imagination: You can dream up flavours the world never knew it needed.
  • Expertise: You have spent enough time behind the bar to know which drink to make with your eyes closed.
  • Quick Reflexes: Your bartending skills are so fast, you make The Flash look slow.
  • Customer Service: You have mastered the art of being a people’s person and are confident behind the bar
  • Team Player:Think of yourself as master collaborator who comes together with them team and makes magic happen. Be it acting like the captain of a highly talented team or brainstorming with our marketing leader for the next big activation.
  • Target and goal oriented: You are clued on and glued onto your restaurant targets and budgets.
  • Basic Chemistry: We are not saying you need a degree, but knowing that gin + tonic ? margarita is helpful. In short all the workshops and certifications you have will be an added advantage,
