Radisson Dubai DAMAC Hills is looking to strengthen our team with a passionate Assistant Director of Sales.
We are proud of our 480 room hotel (90 suites) overlooking the Trump Golf Course, within the DAMAC Hills Community in Dubai Land. To create many a memorable moment for our guests, we will have 4 F&B outlets - Fire Lake Grill restaurant, Hessa St. Kitchen- serving authentic Asian favorites a la carte, Hills Pool Deck and also we are in the process of opening Issei – a trendy Nikkei fusion restaurant & bar, at our rooftop. We are delighted about the fact that all our operational restaurants are in the top 1% of TripAdvisor out of 8000+ restaurants in Dubai. In addition to the above, we also have 4 meeting & event spaces and a busy in-room dining service.

Key Responsibilities:
-Supports the Director of Sales in the smooth running of the sales department
-Ensure that all aspects of the hotel’s pro-active sales initiatives are delivered and total revenue is maximised
-Works proactively to improve guest satisfaction and comfort
-Supports the preparation of the Sales Plan & Pricing strategies
-Fosters a culture of growth, development and performance within the sales team
-Builds and maintains effective working relationships with all key stakeholders
-Reviews and scrutinizes the business performance, providing recommendations that will drive financial performance
-Study developments of the competitor hotels (occupancy, structural alterations, renovation, special campaigns, rate promotions, marketing efforts, theme events etc.)
-Explore and compare corporate traffic amongst the competition
Requirements:
-Familiar with the market dynamics around Jebel Ali, DIP, IMPZ, EXPO 2020, Motor City & Dubai South market
-Minimum 8 years’ experience in hospitality sales within UAE and minimum 3 years’ experience of leading the sales team
-Excellent managerial skills
-Hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style
-Commitment to exceptional guest service
-Personal integrity
