As Guest Arrival Ambassador, you will join a team that is passionate about delivering exceptional service where we believe that anything is possible, whilst having fun in all that we do!
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION
To provide efficient and courteous assistance with luggage, parking and making sure the guest arrival areas are clean and attending. All work is carried out in line with the hotel’s guidelines, and The Radisson Hotel Group’s corporate guidelines and service concepts.
TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
PROVIDE COURTEOUS ASSISTANCE WITH LUGGAGE, ROOMING AND GUEST RELATIONS
· To welcome and escort guests upon arrival exhibiting courteous manners
· To open car door’s and/or entrance door
· To ensure that all guests checking in and out are offered help with their luggage.
· To assist guests in every way possible.
· To maintain a presence in the lobby so that there is always somebody available to answer guest's queries.
· To ensure that the lobby, corridors and entrance area and outside hotel are always clean and tidy by picking up litter, emptying ashtrays and properly arranging furniture in line with the laid down standard.
· Inform guests of local parking areas, fees and park their car if requested.
· Move parking cones and ensure timeous assistance when guest arrive to park their car
· Speaks clearly with guests in a friendly and polite manner.
· Informs guest of hotel’s F&B, leisure facilities, shuttle services and history while escorting the guest to the room.
· Keeps luggage storage room clean and tidy
· Ensures the efficient delivery and collection of group luggage
· Facilitates prompt check-out by assisting guests
· Assists guests with luggage to the vehicle.
· Assists guests to bring luggage with care from room to hotel entrance
· Stores and receives luggage when requested; issues completed claim checks to guests when storing luggage
· Offer assistance in obtaining transport / guest vehicle at the point of departure
· Load the luggage into the guest transport and invite the guest to verify the luggage count
· Makes an effort to find out the guest’s name and uses the guest name when introducing the guest to colleagues at Front Desk or other departments
