Job Description
This position will support the development and implementation of the business partnering function to facilitate and develop actionable recommendations based on business insights that address key business needs and objectives. In collaboration with the rest of the Business Intelligence function they will support insight and information delivery across the organization. This includes but is not limited to developing data models and dashboards in the BI Platform to support all business stakeholders.
This position will report to the BI Business Partners and will work closely with the key members of the business areas.
Location: This role is based in Madrid, Spain
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a Data Analytics Framework to ensure a common and homogeneous analytics practice across the organisation in alignment with the global IT Strategy.
- Report implementation - Create and maintain required BI reports and dashboards; improve data quality & automatization; prototype new reports and BI solutions.
- Insights creation and delivery to end-users. Strong drive for actionable data.
- Will support the BI Business Partner in their duties and ad-hoc analysis.
- Accountable of the correct implementation of corporate BI strategy.
- Provides coaching and training for end-users regarding the BI tools.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience.
- Extensive experience of developing reports in Power BI as well as other Microsoft Power Platform applications.
- Knowledge of database concepts and relational databases (e.g. Azure Synapse, MySQL, SQL Server) and data exploitation technics.
- Analytics background with experience in predictive model and machine learning in Microsoft stack is an advantage.
- Ability to deliver tactical solutions while managing different issues.
- Experience in data management projects (end-to-end information delivery with data warehousing, data modeling, data integration, data profiling, advance analytics and business).
- Experience with business intelligence project related to information lifecycle.
- Organized & effective - take a well-ordered, structured approached in task management.
- Strong influencing and communication skills.
- Critical thinker – ability to understand the logical connections between ideas, identify, construct and evaluate arguments.
- Think Strategically - foresee and take action to deal with problems and opportunities.
- Change Management - be an advocate for positive change and improvements.
