As a Travel Management Specialist at Radisson Hotel Group, you will be part of an international team dedicated to ensuring employees have the best possible business travel experience. Your role will involve implementing and overseeing travel procedures, maintaining compliance, and proactively resolving any travel-related issues. You will be based in the Center of Excellence of RHG in Madrid (Spain).

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supplier & Relationship Management:
    • Maintain strong relationships with travel suppliers, including travel agencies, online booking tools, airlines, train services, and car rental providers.
  • Budget & Expense Management:
    • Support the management of travel budgets, ensuring cost-effective travel solutions while maintaining high standards of service.
    • Oversee expense reimbursement procedures in alignment with global finance teams.
  • Monitoring & Reporting:
    • Track and monitor travel bookings to ensure smooth execution.
    • Assist in preparing travel reports and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Employee Support & Guidance:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for employees, assisting with travel-related inquiries, changes, and cancellations.
    • Coordinate between employees and travel agencies/online booking tools.
    • Conduct post-trip reviews and collect feedback to continuously enhance the travel experience.

SKILLS:

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Travel, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-2 years of experience in travel agency operations or corporate travel management.
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with online booking tools and travel management systems (a plus).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a positive attitude and strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
