KEY OBJECTIVES
Develops and executes paid search marketing strategies and oversees the strategic components of an integrated search engine marketing campaigns to drive incremental revenues
Leads a digital marketing agency, explore new growth opportunities, optimizes campaigns to maximise high return on advertising spend (ROAS) and customer life-time-value (LTV).
Contributes to the broader commercial objectives and profitability of the organisation
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Oversees paid search media strategy, and develops SEM roadmap to achieve short and mid-term performance objectives
· Owns all facets of paid search campaigns including budgeting, forecasting, planning and optimization and reporting within defined scope
· Understands the big picture, aligns and prioritizes the implementations of paid search initiatives accordingly to serve broader objectives
· Liaises with internal and external stakeholders and third-party vendors to execute paid media campaigns across different markets and languages
· Analyzes and optimizes existing paid search campaign performance while troubleshooting and testing to constantly improve return on ad spend (ROAS)
· Performs industry-specific market research to identify opportunities together with the SEO-team, market managers, agencies and together with search engine representatives
· Identifies, implements and manages SEM advertising opportunities to scale
· Delivers regular and ad hoc reports on the performance evolution
· Leads the digital agency by providing a clear direction and reprioritization of tasks and deliverables to exceed business targets
· Develops best practices and guidelines to permeate SEM knowledge across the organization
· Work on innovative projects that fit in the overall strategy and that will help to achieve the overall goals.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· Minimum 8 years of experience in managing large scale SEM budgets and campaigns
· Thorough knowledge of paid search marketing across major search engines – Google Ads, and Bing/Microsoft Advertising in particular
· Experience in bid manager such as SA360, Marin, Kenshoo etc. is a must
· Solid quantitative and research skills with great attention to details
· Thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
· Passionate about online marketing and advertising and stay up to date on the latest digital media trends.
· Actively seeks out new knowledge and skills to stay ahead in a fast-paced environment.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
· Experienced in SA360 and other bid management tools
· Experienced at GMP, Microsoft advertising platforms, tag manager
· Experience in web analytics tools, preferably Adobe Analytics
· Excellent in using Microsoft Office (particularly excel and power point)
· Strong analytical skills and data driven methodological approach
· Familiarity with website architecture, server analysis, sitemaps, rewrites
· Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
· Experience with the integration of a global audience strategy is a plus
