PRIMARY OPRIMARY OBJECTIVES

 

Leverage and synthesize different data sets to enhance decision making and provide actionable insights to enable the organization unlock new revenue opportunities.

 

Accelerate the adoption of data driven decision making process within the organization by developing hypothesis, tools, statistical modelling, processes and reports to support the broader Organization for day to day planning and execution.

 

 

Description

We are looking for a passionate and savvy Manager Digital Analytics who lives and breathes data, someone who can help us decipher different datasets, identify patterns and make more informed decisions to improve the monetization of our brand websites and apps.

 

The Manager Digital Analytics will be a key member of the Digital Marketing Team, making sure a data driven methodology has been fully adopted with the goal to drive new revenue streams and incremental direct online business. 

 

 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Provide analytics and insights to support business recommendations, identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets to enhance decision-making.
  • Design and develop analytical systems to extract actionable insights from large-scale structured data, driving business strategies.
  • Create and disseminate regular and ad hoc reports and analyses (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual) to facilitate data-driven decision-making that supports profitability and growth.
  • Use analytics to drive key success metrics related to yield management, predictive and prescriptive methodologies, forecasting, and revenue generation.
  • Collaborate with the extended team and partners to refine, scale, and implement data management and analytics workflows, procedures, systems, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the digital marketing agency, ensuring effective collaboration, performance tracking, and alignment on business goals.
  • Work with data from Google Cloud stored in BigQuery, creating Looker Studio dashboards to provide clear and actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Validate and reconcile data, performing data profiling, auditing, and cleansing activities to ensure high-quality deliverables and accurate reporting.
  • Develop and refine reporting templates and datasets to address evolving business needs and improve decision-making processes.
  • Conduct attribution and ROI analysis while applying predictive and prescriptive techniques to improve campaign and business outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the analytics approach remains innovative and competitive.
  • Proactively recommend and share best practices with the team to encourage the adoption and utilization of data-driven planning and execution methods.
  • Apply advanced statistical analysis and build or validate algorithms to support predictive analytics and forecasting efforts.
  • Ensure accurate tagging and tracking using tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Tealium Tag Manager, supporting effective measurement strategies.
  • Leverage BI tools such as Power BI and Looker Studio to create actionable dashboards and visualizations.
  • Utilize SQL for data extraction and manipulation to support advanced analytical needs.
  • Lead the measurement of customer lifetime value and customer journey analysis, providing insights into consumer behavior.
  • Demonstrate expertise in digital marketing concepts, ensuring that analytics effectively support marketing initiatives and strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships with third-party partners and agencies, ensuring accountability and performance excellence.
  • Exhibit advanced skills in Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze data effectively.
  • Leverage hotel industry knowledge to align analytics efforts with the specific needs of the hospitality sector.
  • Apply big data tools such as Google Cloud and programming languages like Python or R for advanced analytics and modeling.
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration within the organization while working independently to achieve results.
  • Simplify complex analytical insights into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and decision-making.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities with strong organizational and multitasking skills, ensuring attention to detail.

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Adobe Analytics (preferably Adobe certified) & Google Analytics
  • Tag Manager (Tealium)
  • Tagging and tracking experience
  • Statistical Analysis
  • Building and validating different algorithms
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as PowerBI, Looker Studio
  • SQL knowledge
  • Digital Marketing knowledge
