DESCRIPTION 

The Revenue Systems Trainee will be responsible for the implementation and the accuracy of the hotel revenue strategy across the key Revenue related systems including CRS, PMS, S&C, IDeaS G3, 3rd party partner plus any add-ons or related systems. The scope includes supporting the Revenue Team on daily rates and contracted rate implementation, room availability and inventory allocations across all distribution stream. In addition, the Revenue Systems Coordinator will perform regular audit across systems to ensure system accuracy. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

- Pricing & Yield Management – Ensure RMS/Revenue Manager pricing recommendations and decision are implemented across channels/systems (restriction, overbooking, allotment, pricing changes, rate parity, etc…). 25%  

- Channel Maintenance – Open/Close, adjust free-sale FIT/Wholesaler rates and availability via channel manager (or operator’s extranets), maintain and update the channel manager accordingly (when applicable). 25%  

- Rate Management – Load new rate requests (as per SLA) including, but not limited to: corporate negotiated rate, FIT/Wholesaler, group rate, pricing structure, room types, 3rd party partners rollout, loyalty offers, promotional activities, etc… 25%  

- CRS Auditing – Ensure CRS accuracy thought audit. 15%  

- Support the implementation of key Revenue Optimization related projects including, but not limited to, new pricing model, room types, EMMA, etc...  10% 
 

 

  A successful trainee: 

- Is fluent in English both written and spoken, another European language is a plus 

- Good communication and social skills 

- Good team player 

Trustworthy 

- Well organized with an eye for detail 

- Flexible and co-operative 

- Excellent Microsoft Office skills 

- Has a modern digital mind-set 

- Is self-driven and is able to think outside and inside the box   

 

Requirements:  

Education: currently studying Bachelor or Master degree in Hospitality or Business Administration 

Language skills: Fluent in English both written and spoken, another European language is a plus
