Role Purpose:

The primary role is to ensure the on-time and quality delivery of infrastructure with a highly technical perspective on network and cloud projects. It oversees the execution of projects and ensures that parallel project dependencies are managed to reduce the risks of projects negatively impacting other projects.  

Project Leading:

·        Play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery and execution of key projects. 

·        Work with the IT Governance and Infrastructure teams to ensure quality project delivery. 

·        Responsible for steering key off-track (red) projects back to green (on-track)

·        Lead and execute intervention plans (as needed) to address critical escalations or key projects 

·        Responsible for ensuring parallel project dependencies are captured and managed to reduce the risks of negative impacts.  

Network (required):

·        Preferably to know about the design and implementation of network systems, such as LANs, SDWAN, Security, and SAAS services.

·        Advantageous to know on Fortinet and Palo Alto products.

·        Documentation and compliance: Maintain records of network configurations and ensure adherence to industry standards

Cloud Infrastructure (advantageous):

·        Preferably to know about AWS or Azure cloud environments.


Job requirements and qualifications:

Location: Madrid

Educational Background:

·        University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. 

·        A recognized project management qualification is preferable. 

·        Network or cloud certifications are desirable.

Minimum experience:

A minimum of +5 years overall IT experience.

  • Proven experience in a PMO role  
  • Experience in managing and delivering complex cross-functional projects. 
  • Experience in large, sophisticated IT organizations with high volume/high transaction environments. 
  • Regional/Global management experience and teaming experience, including line management. 
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a strong ability to show initiative 
  • Advanced user level experience with MS Office (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint) 
  • Exposure to both change management and business analysis  
  • Strong in processing complex tasks quickly, working with Agile methodologies  

  • Experience in hospitality projects is a plus. 

Language skills:

Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
