Role purpose:
The Junior Observability Engineer ensures the reliability, performance, and visibility of our digital platforms (web and mobile applications).
In the short term, the role is responsible for operating and optimizing Dynatrace to maintain robust monitoring coverage.
Over the mid term, the engineer will actively support the migration to Prometheus and Grafana, contributing to the design and implementation of a modern observability stack.
By building dashboards, alerts, and metrics pipelines that provide actionable insights to technical and business teams, the role directly enhances platform availability, accelerates incident resolution, and ultimately improves the overall customer experience.

Roles/Responsibilities |

· Monitoring Operations Maintain and optimize Dynatrace dashboards, alerts, and integrations. Ensure monitoring coverage across critical services, APIs, and user journeys · Migration & Tooling Evolution Contribute to the roadmap for migrating from Dynatrace to Prometheus and Grafana. Assist in setting up Prometheus exporters, Grafana dashboards, and alerting rules. Participate in proof-of-concepts and pilot projects for new observability tools. · Collaboration & Incident Support Work closely with SREs, developers, and QA to define SLIs/SLOs. Provide observability data during incident response and postmortems. Document monitoring standards, runbooks, and best practices. · Continuous Improvement · Stay current with observability trends (OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, AIOps). · Suggest improvements to monitoring coverage, alerting thresholds, and visualization.
