Description
The Global IT Network Operations Senior Manager is the overall end to end responsible of all the Corporate IT networking operations services (performance, security, scalability…) delivered across alour +800 properties and 24 offices.  

Network Operations: Ensure Radisson network operates with the highest degree of service quality. 

Network Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive network strategies that support the organization's goals and objectives. This includes planning for future network needs and staying abreast of emerging technologies. 

Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of network engineers and IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a high-performing team. 

Network Security: Oversee the security of the organization's network systems, implementing protocols and measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats.  

Infrastructure Management: Ensure the reliability and efficiency of network infrastructure, including the management of routers, switches, firewalls, and other network components. 

Budget Management: Prepare and manage the budget for the network services department, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or performance. 

Vendor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers to secure the best services and products for the organization's network needs.  

Policy Development: Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures related to network usage, security, and service standards. 

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and lead the global disaster recovery and business continuity plans and operations, ensuring resilience and quick recovery from disruptions.  

 

Essential: 

Educational BackgroundBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a master’s degree or MBA is preferred. 

+10 years overall IT experience, with at least five years of experience managing corporate networks.

Min 2 years experience on similar leadership jobs. 


Technical Proficiency:  

  • In-depth understanding of network architecture (SD-WAN, SASE), protocols, and security. Proficiency in the latest technologies for IT systems and management is essential 

 

Certifications:  

  • Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are advantageous 


Language skills:

English fluency, full understanding and skilled in both written and spoken language. 

 

Soft skills: 

  • Strong leadership skills in order to motivate effectively and to ensure that all local IT have the knowledge they need to do their jobs well 

  • Strong interpersonal skills, communicate with the teams, give clear instructions, and provide great customer service 

  • Good computer skills to analyze data and create reports 

  • Need to work well as part of a team, to take on tasks during busier periods to help colleagues, and to be of assistance or offer guidance to other team members 

  • Analytical skills and the ability to interpret information from numerous sources to prepare and present reports. 

 

Behaviours: 

  • Confidence with a “can do” but realistic attitude- wanting to work collaboratively. 

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing environment e.g. external and business challenges – extremely well organised 

  • Strong planning skills and commercial awareness
