As Area Financial Accountant, you will provide necessary support to the Region/Area
representatives, and Hotels where required in order to assist the decision-making
process ensuring that group financial policies are implemented an adhered to and be responsible for accounting matters related to the admin unit.

Key Responsibilities of the Area Financial Accountant:
- Prepare full set of
management accounts for the admin unit. Complete and review balance sheet
reconciliations, produce timely and accurate monthly
journals and schedules. Maintain financial accounting systems for cash
management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control. Ensure
documentation and maintenance of complete and accurate supporting information
for all financial transactions in line with the group policies.
- Monitors
and implements adequate controls to satisfy the needs of internal and external
auditors as set out in group policies and D-Place, ensuring the business is
fully compliant with internal financial and accounting procedures and policies.
- Acts
as a support and knowledge base for all Radisson systems. Supports, coaches and
guides new recruits in such systems as necessary.
- To
be sufficiently knowledgeable to be able ensure the integrity of the local
financial information and that this is aligned local legislation and RHG
reporting standards.
- Supports
the reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities of the admin unit in the
area, ensuring the production of complete, accurate and timely information.
- Ensure
that risk management is monitored in the Admin unit through Internal Audit and
insurance compliance of all systems
- Performs
other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by the ADFC
Requirements of the
Area Financial Accountant:
-Proven experience in accounting with excellent problem-solving capabilities
-Excellent managerial skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style
-Commitment to exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
-Ability to find creative solutions, offering advice and recommendations
-Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy
-Experienced in using IT systems on various platforms
-Strong communication skills
