We are now looking for a Director of Group Controlling.
You will play a key role in supporting Group Controlling in developing insights and foresights by a strong understanding of the business and external environment.
You are a true business partner supporting business leaders by driving and challenging headcount decisions, cost projections and investment decisions. Given our increased focus on Cost Control, the Director Controlling will use financial, budget and accounting expertise to track, evaluate and challenge costs across the Group ensuring they remain under control. You will translate cost information into useful management information, driving resource allocation and prioritization discussions.
You will also support the SVP Group Controlling in providing an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity, identifying opportunities for improved management control, designed to add value and improving the organization’s operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for the development of 2-3 direct reports. You will be an integral member of the Finance and Control organization at CSO (Central Support Office).
You will also assist Group Controlling in determining compliance with Financial internal (reporting) policies and procedures.
You will take part and/or lead projects related to Cost Control standardization across the Group and take part in the preparation of the reporting to the shareholders.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Drive, challenge and monitor expenses, providing periodic reports enabling Senior Management to make more agile resource allocation decisions.
- Animate monthly meetings with Functional Directors to track their Cost centers in autonomy
- Coordinate the yearly Cost Budget across the Group and budget revision cycles as well as in the preparation of the strategic plan of the company.
- Design the different cost control instruments of the company. This will provide meaningful and reliable information to the company, supports its decision making and a valuable source of analysis regarding company objectives achievement.
- Coordinate and control the company budgets according to the agreed objectives as laid down by the Executive Committee.
- Use financial, budgetary and accounting expertise to track and evaluate resource allocation decisions and to ensure cost control
- Provide Finance support on an ad hoc basis to other departments executives & Business Leaders.
- Have an active role in defining future Group cost KPIs, proposes them and animates them throughout the organization.
- Coordination, supervision and development of your direct reports and of employees of other related departments
- Work as One Team with Group Accounting, the Areas, Tax and other Finance and Business departments

Requirements:
- University Degree in Business/Finance or similar
- Around 10 years of experience in a similar position
- Advanced knowledge and experience as project manager, and strong problem-solving capabilities
- Autonomous and able to work under pressure
- Organized and systematic; paying attention to details.
- Quality oriented (accurate, timely) analytical problem solver and anticipating potential implications and issues
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and highly client oriented
- Excellent ability to work collaboratively across functions and cultures in a global environment
- Personal integrity, with the initiative and the ability to work as part of a team in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy
- Hands-on attitude
- Fluent in English (verbal & written)
