Description


The group accounting manager & consolidation is a key member of the global group accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to the group management and the shareholders. He/she is strong a link between the hotels, the regional offices, and group management in Brussels, with numerous touch points and interactions. This job requires a person that is enthusiastic, motivating and flexible, understanding the needs of all parties involved in the financial reporting processes.  


Roles/Responsibilities 


Preparation of monthly and yearly reports to shareholders 


Preparation of external financial reports for the group 


Participate in projects with the aim of further developing the finance function in the group 


Set up financial analysis 


Center of Excellence for accounting questions, supporting the regional finance teams with accounting related questions  


Improvement of reporting routines and procedures and keeping the group accounting manual and procedures up to date 


Support in external audit process 

Monthly consolidation of the group accounts

  

Competencies & skills requirements  

  • Strong personality, accurate, well developed communication and social skills 

  • Team player that can work under pressure and keep tight deadlines 

  • Analytical 

  • Strong accounting knowledge. Experience of accounting based on IFRS is a plus 

  • Strong Excel skills 

  • Knowledge in SAP BPC or other consolidation system is a plus 

  • Knowledge in SAP ERP and/or S/4HANA is a plus 

  • Hotel experience is a plus 

 

Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance 

Minimum experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. 

Language skills: English
