The Radisson Hotel Group is building its new Digital Experience Center of Excellence in Madrid. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a multinational team made of digital experts that aims at transforming the way Radisson engages with guests digitally to make their travel experience special, Every Moment Matters.

Radisson is currently looking for a Digital Content Management Systems Tech Lead who will be responsible for on-time delivery of digital content on its multi-lingual global e-commerce RadissonHotels.com and Radisson Hotels app. In addition, this person will directly participate in the evolution of the CMS platform.

Mission

The Digital CMS Tech Lead at Radisson Hotel Group has the role to ensure that the CMS, DAM system and translation flows are performant and respond to the need of the business and serve the team of editors in the best way possible. Specifically, the purpose of this role is to:
- Lead and prioritize content-related improvements and bugs in order to keep the CMS healthy and up to date.
- Follow the DAM and the translation flows integrations with the CMS in order to ensure the best usability by the content editors and offer the best experience to the website and app users.
- Guide and mentor the Digital Content Specialists on how to use the CMS, the DAM and the translation flows in order to ensure smooth content operations.
- Ensuring that what is delivering is quality content.

Team and Stakeholders

The Digital CMS Tech Lead will part of the Digital Experience Center of Excellence Team and will communicate with global teams around the world including:
- Hotel Owners/Operators
- Brand and Marketing Teams
- Digital Marketing and SEO Teams
- Commercial Team
- IT Team and other technical teams in the company
- Vendors

Responsibilities

The Digital CMS Tech Lead has the responsibility to:
- Ensure the delivery of high-standard web content on RadissonHotels.com and Radisson Hotel app through a continuous maintenance and improvement of the CMS system (SDL Tridion) following AGILE methodologies.
- Improve, identify gaps and provide recommendations on how to evolve the CMS system.
- Expert in workflows and content automation
- Follow the technical improvements of the translation system.
- Follow the technical improvements of the Digital Asset Management tool (DAM) – ICE Portal.
- Ensure that the content-related technical issues are correctly reported in Jira, prioritized, solved by the vendor and tested before being sent live.
- Recommend online solutions to deliver content using available CMS and technical resources.
- Guide and mentor the Digital Content Specialists on how to use the CMS, DAM and translation flows.
- Support in the operations of publishing the content on the website and app.
- Keep abreast of new developments, techniques, platforms and technologies, and share best practices.
- Act as an advocate for the users to improve the customer experience on the website.

Requirements/Skills

The Digital CMS Tech Lead must possess the following requirements and skills:
- Excellent command of written and spoken English is a must
- Minimum of 4 - 5 years’ experience using a web content management system.
- Technical background to understand the CMS technology as an admin user.
- Strong grip on product development in AGILE environments.
- Ability to gather and scope out enhancement ideas and requirements.
- High degree of ownership and accountability.
- Solid knowledge of HTML.
- Basic understanding of the full eCommerce technology ecosystem including Digital Content, CMS, DAM, Translation processes, SEO, Tag Management, Web Analytics, CRM.
- Experience managing content for a global audience preferred.
- Capable of working cross-functionally across teams.
- Balance multiple projects, assignments, and launches simultaneously within a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
- Ability to coach, mentor and develop other team members.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing, time-constrained launch schedules.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and patient.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Native English, Chinese, German, Russian or Nordic language is a plus.
