With an exciting future ahead, and plans to develop the business further, The Radisson Hotel Group is looking for a Data Analyst to be based in the Area Support Office at Radisson Blu Manchester Airport.
With a passion for data and driving revenue, you must be a strategic thinker with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to solve problems. An effective communicator, with a flair for understanding complex datasets and the confidence to generate reports and insights that highlight revenue opportunities.
You will:
• Be responsible for updating, creating and distributing standard and ad hoc reports to support the UK Sales, Meetings & Events functions across the area UKI WE and relevant hotels reporting in line with Sales Focus support objectives.
• Support the Area Director of Sales & Marketing, UK, Ireland and Western Europe and Area Director Meeting & Events, UK, Ireland and Western Europe, to maximise meeting and events revenue and support key focus projects and analysis for the Sales function.
• Understand, investigate and extract data from any relevant system needed for analysis and problem solving raised by Area Service Office and/or Corporate Service Office.
• Support in the creation of key monthly reporting to analyse the business and support identifying key future sales drives.
• Provide insight and recommendations to support the above functions in their further analysis.
You are:
• Highly numerate and data literate
• Proficient with advanced Excel i.e. pivot tables, VLookup
• Logical with excellent personal organisation and organization skills
• Detail orientated and keen to work on your own initiative
You have:
• A highly analytical nature with a passion for creating, handling and manipulating high volumes of data coupled with an understanding of simple VBA or SQL queries
• A Mathematic, Business Analysis or Statistics university degree
• A keen interest in the Hospitality sector
