We are now looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team here at Radisson Hotel Group! 
The position is based in our office in either Oslo or Copenhagen.

About the Senior Financial Accountant role:

As a member of the Finance organization and reporting to the Head of Administration for the Area, the Senior Financial Accountant will provide a clear link between the hotels, admin unit central services, the external Financial Shared Service Center provider (BPO) and other internal and external stakeholders. The role will oversee the day-to-day operations of the retained finance organization together with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate for this role is supportive, proactive, analytical as well as deadline-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks.

 Tasks, duties and responsibilities:

• Deliver task related to company finance and accounting processes (both for group accounting and local gaap accounting)  either being covered by BPO or the Admin Finance retained organization.
• Counterpart to finance service delivery network at BPO side to support ad-hoc questions or incidents which requires Radisson insights and knowledge.
• Follow the implementation and standardization of Finance hotel and Admin unit activities within the Area and ensure documentation (Policies/SOPs) are up to date.
• Support the hotel teams and Admin unit central services teams and BPO in defined activities as required including month end/ year end closing, internal or external audit reviews, ancillary services for the administration of legal entities, etc.
• Support the BPO partner by solving non-standard (non-transactional) activities in Accounting/Operations (e.g. reconciliation of accounts, clearing of dummy accounts) for processes which are covered by the BPO
• Manage, coordinate, and drive the external audit and ensure all requested audit documentation and enquiries are provided within agreed deadline
• Ensure that all agreed finance processes (specifically account reconciliations) are compliant and complete. 
• Proactively keep up to date in area (Norway/Sweden/Denmark country specific) accounting rules and regulation changes.
• Provide training for finance and non-finance employees regarding processes and enablers.
• Ad Hoc projects as defined by Direct Manager

Competencies & skills requirements:

• At least 4-5 years of professional experience as Nordic Local GAAP and IFRS Financial Accountant, ideally within the hotel industry
• Completed studies in the field of finance, accounting or similar degree
• Experience in leading team or willingness to become a people manager
• Fluent in a Scandinavian language and English, both written and spoken
• Outstanding analytical skills
• Experience with internal and external shared service centers is preferred
