THE EXCITING OPPORTUNITY
We opened the first 5* Hotel in Liverpool; The Municipal Hotel & Spa MGallery in May 2023 and have reset the clock within this historic building, bringing it back to life. Our Heartists® aspire to create memorable, heartfelt moments for all life enjoyers to experience unique stories from the past but also to immerse themselves into our hospitality, creating their own astonishing tales of MGallery magical moments. We boast 179 stunning bedrooms set in a remarkable and inspiring landmark of the city. Time is of essence and at the heart of The Municipal’s story. The iconic clock tower and bells giving the tempo to a timeless melody. Various restaurants, bars and a state-of-the-art spa sanctuary experience, will offer everyone the place to have the time of their lives, pause the clock and embark upon their own magical journey with MGallery.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DOOR PERSON AT THE MUNICIPAL HOTEL & SPA MGALLERY
What you'll be doing...
When you enter our hotel, we want you to be wowed—just as we aspire for every guest to feel that same sense of awe during their first interaction with our space and our Heartists®.
As the Doorperson at The Municipal Hotel, you will be the welcoming face and gracious farewell of our guest journey. You’ll set the tone for each stay with your warm demeanour, refined presence, and impeccable attention to detail. Your role is essential in crafting a seamless and elevated experience that reflects the character and charm of both the hotel and the MGallery brand.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
We hire mostly on personality & potential but here are a few of our requirements...
Other duties include:
· Providing prompt and efficient assistance with opening doors, loading and unloading luggage, and assisting with transportation
· Greeting guests upon arrival and departure, ensuring a warm and positive experience.
· Ensure the entrance area is pristine and always inviting.
· Provide local insight and directions, reflecting the unique story and spirit of the hotel’s surroundings.
· Anticipate guest needs and act as a liaison between departments
· Monitor the hotel entrance discreetly to maintain guest safety and privacy.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for guests and visitors, offering assistance and accurate information as needed
· Deliver exceptional customer service consistently, creating positive and memorable guest experiences.
· Addressing guest questions and concerns in a courteous and professional manner, and referring them to the appropriate department if necessary
· Stay up to date on hotel events, promotions, and the MGallery narrative to enhance guest engagement.
· Uphold luxury service standards through every guest interaction
