A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN NIGHT AUDITOR AT THE MUNICIPAL HOTEL & SPA MGALLERY
What you'll be doing...
As the Night Auditor, you play a pivotal role in supporting our overnight operation, upholding the refined standards of the Municipal MGallery. Whilst supporting the Night Manager and Assistant Night Manager, you will ensure that our late arrivals have a warm hospitable welcome and that our in-house guests sleep soundly within 5* luxury.
In this role, you ensure the transition from day to night remains seamless and invisible to our guests. You will assist the management team in taking responsibility for guest safety, financial accuracy through the Night Audit.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading the Vision
• Uphold the MGallery “Memorable Moments” philosophy throughout the night.
• Ensure consistency of five-star service standards across all overnight
touchpoints.
Operational Excellence
• Complete the Night Audit with absolute accuracy.
• Ensure all financial reporting is precise, compliant and completed on time.
• Complete Guest check-ins for late arrivals to brand standard.
Guest Relations
• Promptly respond to any Guest requests or queries in house, by phone and by
email.
• Confidently handle late arrivals, early departures, and guest concerns with
polished empathy.
• Resolve issues calmly and professionally, reflecting luxury brand standards.
Safety & Security
• Comply with overnight Fire Marshall and Health &
Safety procedures.
• Conduct regular security patrols of the hotel and historic premises.
• Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of guests, colleagues and
property.
The Ideal Candidate
• Previous experience in a Front Office or Nights within a
luxury hotel or 4* hotel and above.
• Proven ability to carry out Security procedures ensuring the safety of our
guests and team.
• Strong proficiency in PMS systems (Opera Cloud preferred) and Night Audit
procedures.
• Confident and personable with a calm, reassuring approach.
• Passionate about luxury hospitality and delivering personalised guest
experiences.
