Role Overview

As Kitchen Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in helping to lead our team of chefs to success. Working closely with the Food, Beverage & Kitchen Manager, you will maintain high standards in service, hygiene, and efficiency across all aspects of the kitchen. From food preparation to staff mentorship, your expertise will ensure a seamless and high-quality dining experience to wow every guest.

Salary : £26187 (£30326 FTE)

Hours : 35 over 5 days
Mixture of mornings & evenings 

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A KITCHEN TEAM LEADER AT OUR HOTEL

Key Responsibilities 

·        Lead and support all chefs in daily operations

·        Ensure dish quality, presentation, and consistency meet the expectations of guests and the hotel

·        Assist with stock planning, control and ordering

·        Maintain health & safety and food hygiene practices across the department to deliver exceptional audit scores

·        Assist with menu development across breakfast, dinner and events

·        Train and mentor chefs, fostering a positive and productive work environment

·        Work closely with the restaurant and bar teams to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction

·        Monitor kitchen financial performance and working with the FBK manager implement cost-control measures to aid the                           department to deliver against budget

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

-Previous chef experience in a kitchen leadership role or ready to take the next step in your development
- Strong team management and communication skills

-Positive can-do approach

- Passion for high-quality food and service

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment on own or as part of a team

- Confident to deliver up to date food safety and hygiene regulations

- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
