A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GUEST SERVICES ASSISTANT
As a Guest Services Assistant at Holiday Inn Express London – Limehouse, you’ll be at the heart of the guest experience. This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) with a mix of front desk and food & beverage responsibilities – ideal for someone who thrives in a varied, fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be doing:
Greeting guests with warmth and efficiency at check-in and check-out
Handling bookings, payments, and guest queries with accuracy
Providing local recommendations and personalised service
Supporting smooth communication with housekeeping and maintenance teams
Assisting with F&B service, including:
Serving at the bar
Helping in the kitchen during breakfast
Breakfast hosting duties such as welcoming guests and keeping the service area clean and stocked
Keeping the front desk area professional and welcoming
Managing calls, emails, and guest requests efficiently
Going above and beyond to ensure every guest has a memorable stay
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
We’re looking for someone who brings energy, passion, and professionalism to the role. Ideally, you’ll have:
At least 1 year of experience in a hotel environment
Proven customer service experience
Knowledge of Opera PMS (preferred, but not essential)
A naturally friendly and approachable personality
Strong multitasking and communication skills
A genuine “can-do” attitude and desire to make guests feel at home
Flexibility to support F&B operations when needed
The ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems on the go
A team player mindset, ready to jump in wherever you’re needed
