A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BAR SUPERVISOR AT OUR HOTEL
What you'll be doing...
Lead by example, guiding and inspiring the bar team to deliver exceptional service and memorable guest experiences.
Oversee the preparation of a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring consistency, quality, and creativity.
Ensure smooth daily operations by setting up and maintaining the bar to premium standards, creating an inviting and well-organised space.
Monitor and support service flow during busy periods, jumping in where needed to maintain pace and attention to detail.
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness across all bar areas, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
Liaise with the kitchen and restaurant team to coordinate food service in the bar, ensuring a seamless and elevated dining experience.
Take ownership of inventory control – from restocking and replenishing supplies to monitoring usage and minimising waste.
Report and follow up on any equipment issues, ensuring efficient bar operations at all times.
Train, mentor, and develop bartenders and junior team members, promoting a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Proven bar experience, ideally in a supervisory or leadership role, with a passion for crafting standout drinks and experiences.
Strong organisational skills and a proactive attitude to problem-solving and maintaining standards.
Natural leadership and people skills – you know how to get the best from your team while keeping the atmosphere upbeat and professional.
A keen eye for detail and a focus on maintaining efficiency without compromising service.
Confidence in managing inventory, stock rotation, and bar equipment care.
A commitment to delivering a VIP experience to every guest, every time.
