This is a hands-on role where attention to detail and pride in your work are essential. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the presentation of our hotel, ensuring it always looks its best for our guests and team.
Carry out painting and decorating work across guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to a high standard.
Use a variety of techniques and materials suited to different surfaces and finishes, ensuring a professional look throughout.
Assess and prepare surfaces, fill cracks and holes, and protect furniture and flooring during work.
Keep an eye out for wear and tear, damage, or areas needing attention, and report any maintenance issues as needed.
Work closely with the Maintenance team to complete tasks efficiently, with minimal disruption to guests and staff.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times and maintain a clean, tidy work area.
Take ownership of your work, delivering a polished, well-maintained look that reflects the quality of our hotel.
A proven track record in painting and decorating, ideally within a commercial or hotel environment.
Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work.
Good knowledge of surface preparation, finishing techniques, and safe use of tools and materials.
Ability to work independently, manage your own time, and prioritise tasks.
A proactive and flexible approach — happy to assist with other maintenance tasks when required.
A team player who communicates well with colleagues and takes initiative.
Commitment to health and safety standards.
