JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to support our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and ensuring kitchen equipment and utensils are cleaned and stored properly. This is a vital role in helping the kitchen run smoothly and efficiently.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A KITCHEN PORTER  AT OUR HOTEL 

What you'll be doing...

  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently using dishwashing equipment or by hand.
  • Keep kitchen areas clean and organized, including floors, work surfaces, and storage areas.
  • Dispose of rubbish and recycling properly and safely.
  • Ensure all cleaning materials and chemicals are used safely and stored correctly.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Support kitchen team with any additional tasks as needed during busy service times

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • No formal qualifications required; training will be provided.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hot, and noisy environment.
  • Strong attention to cleanliness, detail, and safety.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
