A Day in the LifeAs an Events Porter at The Collector’s Hall, your duties will include:
• Setting up event spaces including furniture, décor, and equipment to the required layout and specification.
• Supporting the efficient breakdown and clear-down of events once complete.
• Transporting equipment, materials, and supplies safely across the venue.
• Loading and unloading deliveries efficiently and in line with manual handling guidelines.
• Keeping all event areas clean, organised, and presentable throughout each shift.
• Responding promptly to any on-the-day changes or requirements from the events team.
• Reporting any damages, maintenance issues, or health and safety concerns.
What We’re Looking For• Previous experience in a similar role or within hospitality/events (preferred but not essential).
• A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to take initiative.
• A reliable team player who can follow instructions and work well under pressure.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
