We are now looking for a Banqueting Sous Chef to join our team and help shape the culinary identity of this extraordinary venue. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your creativity, leadership, and passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences on a grand scale.

As Banqueting Sous Chef, you’ll report directly to the Executive Head Chef and play a pivotal role in creating and delivering exceptional event dining. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Leading the banqueting kitchen team, ensuring flawless preparation and service for weddings, conferences, and special events.
Supporting the Executive Chef in menu development, bringing creativity and precision to large-scale dining experiences.
Overseeing food safety, hygiene, and quality standards across all banqueting operations.
Managing stock control, ordering, and cost efficiency with a focus on minimising waste.
Training, mentoring, and motivating junior chefs, fostering a positive and professional team culture.
Working closely with the events team to ensure seamless coordination between kitchen and service.
Maintaining a calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure during busy functions.
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef in a banqueting, hotel, or high-volume event environment.
A genuine passion for food, with the ability to balance creativity and consistency.
Strong leadership skills, inspiring confidence in your team and colleagues.
Excellent organisational ability and a sharp eye for detail.
The ability to perform under pressure while maintaining the highest standards.
