We are now looking for a Junior Sous Chef (Banqueting) to join our team and support the delivery of exceptional large-scale dining experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious chef ready to step up, develop leadership skills, and contribute to the continued success and culinary identity of this unique and thriving venue.

As Junior Sous Chef (Banqueting), you’ll support the Executive Head Chef and Banqueting Sous Chef in delivering high-quality event dining. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in leading the banqueting kitchen team to ensure smooth preparation and service for weddings, conferences, and events
Supporting menu execution and contributing ideas to menu development
Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation
Assisting with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
Helping train and guide junior team members, promoting a positive kitchen culture
Working closely with the events team to ensure seamless service delivery
Remaining calm and organised during high-volume service periods
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
Experience as a Junior Sous Chef, Chef de Partie ready to step up, or similar role in a hotel, banqueting, or high-volume environment
A passion for food and a willingness to learn and grow
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A positive attitude and team-focused mindset
The ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality
A proactive approach and eagerness to take on responsibility
