We are looking for a passionate and experienced Head Therapist with the expertise to support and enhance the quality of our spa therapeutic services. We are looking for someone who can inspire a team, coordinate the customers journey and foster a professional, caring environment for both clients and staff.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SPA THERAPIST IN OUR HOTEL 

What You’ll Be Doing:

(Part Time: 24 Hours Contract - 3 shifts p/w) 

• Consulting with clients to understand their physical conditions, needs and preferences. 
• Performing various treatments such as massages, facials and other spa services in accordance with protocols and standards.
• Assess clients' needs and recommend appropriate treatments to ensure a personalised and satisfying experience.
• Preparing and maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organistion of treatment rooms and spa facilities.
• Ensuring a relaxed and comfortable environment for clients. 
• Monitoring clients' condition during treatments and adjusting techniques as needed. 
• Maintaining client records including treatments provided and any noticeable health conditions. 
• Adhering to cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas. 
• Attending staff meetings and training sessions to learn about new products or treatment protocols. 
• Ensure proper use of spa products and equipment.
• Uphold the highest standards of client confidentiality and professionalism.
• Promote spa services, packages, and retail products to meet sales goals.
• Stay informed about latest spa trends, techniques, and wellness practices.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures.

What We Need from You:

• Certification or diploma in massage therapy, cosmetology, or aesthetics from a recognised institution.
• Ability to maintain calm and welcoming under pressure. 
• Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays, and evenings as per the business needs. 
• Proven experience as a spa therapist or massage therapist in a similar setting. 
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
