A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD & BEVERAGE SUPERVISOR AT OUR HOTEL 

What you'll be doing...

  •  Lead by example—welcome guests with a warm smile and ensure every interaction is delivered with care and professionalism.
  • Oversee day-to-day floor operations, ensuring food and drink orders are taken and delivered accurately and efficiently.
  • Support the team in maintaining high presentation standards and smooth timing during service.
  • Supervise the set-up, cleanliness, and reset of tables and service areas, keeping the dining space inviting and well-organised at all times.
  • Assist with preparing and serving beverages, including barista-style drinks and non-alcoholic options, while ensuring team members are confident and consistent.
  • Manage inventory and restocking, helping to ensure the team has what they need when they need it.
  • Champion hygiene and health & safety standards, ensuring your team follows best practice and your workspace is always inspection-ready.
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth communication and seamless service delivery across all areas.
  • Provide hands-on support to the team during busy periods while guiding, coaching, and developing junior team members.  
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU 

  •   A natural leader with a friendly, professional approach and a real passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Previous experience in food and beverage service is essential, with some supervisory or shift-leading experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to direct a team and engage guests.
  • Strong attention to detail—whether it's checking order accuracy or upholding presentation standards.
  • A calm, organised presence who thrives in busy environments and helps keep the team on track.
  • Flexible, hands-on, and supportive—always ready to step in, solve problems, and lead from the front.
