SUMMARY

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Reservations Executive to join our team. This role involves managing guest reservations, responding to inquiries, and ensuring a smooth booking process through phone, email, and online platforms.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF RESERVATIONS EXECUTIVE AT OUR HOTEL 

  • Create reservations and input via both telephone and email according to room and rate availability, ensuring that full and accurate details are obtained
  • Deal with travel agent bookings, vouchers and credit requests, ensuring that the hotel’s policy is adhered to at all times.
  • Accurate and timely responses to guests, clients and agents in line with our brand standards.
  • Update reservations, to input and record cancellations and amendments, making sure all bookings are accurate.
  • Checking arrivals for following day
  • To be fully conversant with rate groups and sales accounts procedures.
  • Completing other projects when and if required within the Reservations Manager.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU 

  • Similar experience as a reservation agent role in a 4 - 5 Star Front Office or Reservations Department.
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach to handling bookings, guest queries, and VIP requests
  • Proficiency in reservations systems (ideally Opera or similar) and CRM tools, with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, able to balance high call volumes with guest requests and team training
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business
  • A genuine enthusiasm for creating memorable guest experiences and ensuring smooth, efficient reservation processes
