OUR HOTEL
Step into history at Plymouth’s first luxury hotel. Opened in 1863, the Duke of Cornwall Hotel is an iconic landmark and a stunning example of Victorian Gothic architecture, praised by poet Sir John Betjeman as “one of the nation’s finest.” For over 160 years, it has welcomed explorers, celebrities, and travellers from around the world, surviving two World Wars and remaining a jewel in Britain’s Ocean City. With 72 individually styled bedrooms, elegant event spaces, and a reputation for timeless charm, the Duke offers more than a workplace, it’s a chance to be part of a living legacy where history meets hospitality.
