A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE GOODS RECEIVER AT OUR HOTEL 

What you'll be doing...

    • Ensure that all purchases, requisitions, etc. have proper approvals and all orders are place and received in accordance with policies and procedures.
    • Oversee and assist in unloading, receiving, sorting, stocking, securing, and distributing goods.
    • Maintain an appropriate par stock on all inventory’s goods with regular stock checks and reports.
    • Ensure compliance with local food and beverage storage laws, regulations, and codes.
    • Secure competitive bids and maintain appropriate supporting documentation.
    • Ensure inventory pricing reflects most current information and track all price changes.
    • Assist with financial reports in accordance with the hotel requirements meeting various due dates and deadlines.
    • Keep supervisor aware of any unusual occurrences and significant deviations from standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Prior similar experience is desirable
  • Clear communication skills to interact confidently with suppliers and colleagues
  • A keen eye for detail, especially in accuracy regarding deliveries

  • Flexibility and energy to thrive in a fast-paced setting, handling peak times with ease.
