A bit about what you will do...  

Maintenance Engineers in our team provide effective repair and preventative maintenance to ensure our hotel, grounds and facilities are kept in excellent condition. 

  • Previous experience in a Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, or similar role within a hotel, hospitality, facilities, or commercial environment.
  • Good all-round maintenance knowledge, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC/air conditioning, carpentry, and general building repairs.
  • Relevant technical qualification or trade certification preferred (e.g. Electrical, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing or Building Services).
  • Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently with minimal disruption to hotel operations and guest experience.
  • Experience with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes and reactive maintenance.
  • Knowledge of health & safety regulations and safe working practices.
  • Responding to maintenance emergency calls from all departments.

  • Flexible approach, remaining calm under pressure and working hard to avoid disrupting our guests.

  • Plumbing, carpentry, and electrical skills are a real advantage 

  •  4-star hotel experience in a similar role a plus.
