  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently and contribute to continuous improvement of patient services.
Responsibilities
  • Respond to incoming calls, emails, and chat messages from patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, providing pre-visit instructions, and answering questions about hospital services.
  • Document all interactions accurately in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Identify and escalate urgent or complex issues to appropriate departments promptly.
  • Adhere to HIPAA and other healthcare privacy regulations in all communications.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with hospital policies, services, and technology tools.
  • Contribute feedback to improve patient communication processes and service delivery.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service, preferably within healthcare or related fields.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and empathetic approach.
  • Proficient with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual communication platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with reliable internet access.
  • Knowledge of healthcare terminology and HIPAA compliance is a plus.
