Description

At The Headland, we blend Heritage with Heart to create unforgettable experiences. We are deeply committed to putting the Cornish community first and protecting our stunning coastline. As a proud EarthCheck partner, eco-friendly practices are in our DNA. We don't just talk about sustainability; we live it every day. Together, we provide effortless, elevated hospitality in spaces designed for everyone—where our guests (and their four-legged friends!) can relax, play, and make lifelong memories.

The Role

We are searching for an attentive and welcoming Receptionist to support our front-of-house team in maintaining excellent, 5* standards within our reception team. In this vital guest-facing role, you will be the first point of contact, ensuring our guest journey is seamless from arrival to departure and directly contributing to our exceptional guest experience. If you are highly organised, take pride in your work, and want to be part of a supportive team, we would love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Greeting guests warmly, managing the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, and ensuring the reception area remains immaculate and welcoming.
  • Handling guest inquiries, booking requests, and feedback with professional care, ensuring our luxury service standards are maintained at all times.
  • Managing reservations, processing payments accurately, monitoring daily arrivals & departures, and ensuring guest preferences are detailed and communicated.

What We Are Looking For

  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • A proactive, team-player mindset and a dedication to high standards.
  • Experience of handling guest check-ins & check-outs, managing complaints gracefully, and resolving booking discrepancies under pressure would be advantageous.

Perks & Benefits

We believe in rewarding our team with exceptional perks. When you join us, you’ll enjoy:

  • Complimentary breakfast, lunch, or dinner provided for all shifts over 6 hours
  • On-site parking
  • Gym access & weekly swim session
  • Complimentary stay after 1 years’ service
  • 40% off spa products
  • 25% off spa treatments
  • Complimentary meals in each of our restaurants, once a year
  • Special rate for Pride of Britain Hotels
  • Discounted surf lessons

As well as regular awards and recognition:

  • Monthly recognition awards
  • Annual festive awards event
  • Long service awards dinner

If you have what it takes to join a vibrant, multi-award-winning hotel, we would love to hear from you!
