Description

As a Reception Team Member (40 Hour Contract) you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests and play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming, and professional experience from arrival through to departure.

You’ll work as part of the Front Office team, assisting guests with check-ins, check-outs, enquiries, reservations, and any requests they may have during their stay. Your friendly and professional approach will help ensure every guest feels valued and well looked after.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Welcoming and greeting guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Checking guests in and out efficiently and accurately
  • Handling guest enquiries, requests, and feedback with a positive attitude
  • Providing information about the hotel, facilities, local area, and services
  • Managing reservations, room allocations, and guest accounts where required
  • Answering telephone calls and responding to guest enquiries
  • Ensuring the reception and front-of-house areas are clean, tidy, and welcoming
  • Assisting with guest issues and resolving problems professionally and promptly
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service, presentation, and professionalism
  • Working as part of a team to deliver a seamless guest experience
We’re looking for someone who is:
  • Friendly, approachable, and confident when communicating with guests
  • Passionate about hospitality and delivering excellent customer service
  • Professional, organised, and able to remain calm under pressure
  • Reliable, flexible, and willing to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • A strong team player with excellent attention to detail
  • Positive and proactive with a genuine desire to help guests
  • Previous reception or hotel experience is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided
