Acquired by Hall & Woodhouse in February 2022, the Red Barn sat on the glorious sands at Woolacombe. Quirky and uber cool, generations of holiday makers and surfing locals made the former Red Barn the place to see and be seen. The Barn - Reborn; Following a major investment and restyling this winter we are recruiting now in this amazing pub business.

We have an opening for an experienced breakfast cook\chef to join our fabulous friendly kitchen........

Your rewards as a Breakfast chef with our team:

  • A sensible work life balance with 5 days working, and excellent conditions
  • Pay of £13.55 per hour, rising to £14.00 from 1/04/26
  • Pay further boosted by a share of tips
  • 60% off meals on duty, free chef uniform and kitchen shoes
  • Around 25 hours per week, additional kitchen may hours may be available

  • A highly organized Cook\Chef with breakfast service experience
  • Good with early starts and able to reliably manage the commute 
  • Able to work to precise specifications for cooking and presentation
  • Able to do general prep and support in the main kitchen
  • A good team player able to inspire others
  • A cook\chef that cares about your craft and enjoys the buzz of a busy service
  • Trained in food safety and hygiene regulations including allergens
  • Diligent about compliance and sustainability
  • Looking for a great daytime job including weekends that offers long term prospects
  • Seeking an employer that recognizes and rewards commitment and talent
