Red Cat Independent Pubs are on the lookout for an Executive Chef to join the Food team. Red Cat Independent Pubs is a growing collection of distinctive pubs, known for outstanding food, quality drinks, and warm hospitality. Each venue is unique, rooted in its local community but driven by a shared commitment to culinary excellence. We focus on seasonally inspired menus, high-quality British produce, and genuine, memorable service.
As Executive Chef, you’ll be at the heart of our food offering – inspiring and leading a talented kitchen brigade across a regional group of sites. This is a hands-on, strategic leadership role, responsible for maintaining consistency and quality, developing menus, and driving kitchen performance. You'll be involved in the mentoring and management of Head Chefs, the design and implementation of seasonal menu's and the ongoing management of GP, budgeting and supplier relationships.
Ideally, the successful Executive Chef will have proven experience in multi-site kitchen operations, stemming from another Pub, Restaurant or Hotel group. We're looking for a creative, hands-on leader with both strong communication and people skills. It is essential that the perfect candidate has a strong commercial awareness and is also passionate about the training and mentoring of new Chef talent.
This role is offered on a full-time basis, loosely based around the Oxfordshire(and neighbouring counties) area. There is an excellent remuneration package available here, with a salary of up to £60k plus bonus and additional benefits. The successful Exec Chef will also receive a company car allowance and travel expenses paid for by the business.
