Set within a Grade II–listed building in the heart of Cheltenham, The Queens Hotel is one of Europe’s earliest purpose-built hotels. Boasting 84 elegantly appointed rooms, two versatile meeting spaces, including our Regency Suite, alongside a refined restaurant and bar, we deliver timeless charm, exceptional service, and locally inspired cuisine.

The Role

We’re seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Reservationist to support our reservations operations and ensure outstanding guest experiences from the first point of contact.

Main Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Handle all individual and group reservations enquiries, confirmations, and amendments with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service via phone, email, and in person, ensuring all interactions are warm, efficient, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability, rates, packages, and promotions.
  • Collaborate with the Meetings & Events and Front Office teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Input and manage bookings within the property management system, ensuring accurate records and billing.
  • Support the Reservations & Events Manager in driving occupancy and revenue through upselling opportunities and yield management.
  • Assist in compiling reports and data analysis to help improve booking trends and guest satisfaction.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A strong background in customer-facing roles, preferably within hospitality or travel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a guest-first mindset.
  • A high level of organisation, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive, adaptable attitude with a desire to learn and grow within the company.
