The Store Oxford - the city’s only luxury lifestyle hotel - is looking for a Breakfast waiter who's an early riser.
Expect the unexpected at Treadwell. Rooted in Oxford and shaped by the produce of its surrounding countryside, our restaurant reimagines British dining with bold flavours and fresh perspective. From inventive small plates to generous mains and Sunday roasts with all the trimmings, Treadwell is a place for midweek suppers, weekend gatherings, and everything in between.
Job Purpose:
To deliver a warm, welcoming, and efficient breakfast service to guests,
ensuring exceptional standards of customer care and presentation at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they feel
welcome and comfortable.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve breakfast items promptly and ensure presentation meets brand standards.
• Clear tables, and reset them quickly and neatly for the next
guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the breakfast area, buffet, and
service stations.
• Assist in setting up and closing down the restaurant before and after
breakfast service.
• Handle guest queries or complaints calmly and professionally, escalating
where necessary.
• Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
• Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
• Support the wider Food & Beverage team with other duties as required.
Skills & Experience:
• Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant service role preferred but not
essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, proactive, and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in personal appearance.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
Hours:
Primarily early morning shifts, typically between 6:00am – 12:00pm, depending
on business needs.
