Rí Rá (roughly translated as “Good Fun”) has been a labor of love for Ciaran Sheehan and David Kelly, two childhood friends from Ireland, since they emigrated to the USA in the 1990’s. The duo’s mission was to create a gathering place like those pubs that they knew so well from their hometowns in Ireland. Such a place would have authentic Irish interiors, would be welcoming to all and would act as a “social hub” for the local community; a “Real Irish Local”. Rí Rá in Uptown Charlotte, NC, encompasses a fantastic, 2-storey, community oriented pub & restaurant, an outdoor deck, as well as two other brands (the Rí Rá Sandwich Shop and Uptown Coffee Co.)! We want people who support our Mission (to “Create Experiences That People Love”) and want to have fun in achieving it!

What You Will be Doing
- Greeting guests on arrival with a warm and friendly welcome
- Preparing high quality hot / cold beverages and food items during general service to the exact specs provided
- Completing items assigned on prep and portioning lists as outlined by direct Supervisor in preparation for service needs
- Adhering to all Company SOP’s with regards to health & sanitation
- Keeping work-station clean, organized and inspection ready at all times
- Following up with guest requests, either directly or via the assigned staff member
- Assisting in the maintenance and cleaning of service utensils and service equipment as required
- Accommodating and processing “To Go” orders
- Ensuring that all set-up and break-down tasks are completed to standard
- Maintaining an approach to a “guest experience” focus that centers around “Genuine Hospitality”
