A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented individual to join our team as a Deputy General Manager, working as part of the Senior Leadership Team at the two hotels within the portfolio, The Richmond Hill, and The Grand Brighton Hotels. 

As Deputy General Manager, reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be accountable for all Food and Beverage Operations (including the Kitchen), Front of house Operations, Maintenance and Housekeeping. You will already be an accomplished leader who has experience at a senior HOD or Operations Manager level. You will have strong experience in both the Food and Beverage and Rooms Divisions, with some experience within Human Resources practices. Managing multiple projects will come naturally to you, as will presenting to all levels of stakeholders. You will be familiar working within an entrepreneurial “independent” business environment and have a track record of driving a business forward strategically.

Leading a team of 80, as a Deputy General Manager, you will be responsible for: 
• Ensuring the day to day and long-term Restaurant, Bar, Conference and Banqueting, Kitchen, Front office, and housekeeping strategies are met • Execution of all budgets and forecasts 
• The delivery of customer, revenue, and profit targets 
• Training & developing your team in the brand standards and financial awareness of their departments, including budgeting, and forecasting their departments 
• Regular communication with Senior Management team & investors 
• Implementing policies and procedures in line with business needs 
• Leading the process and culture to ensure all licence, Health & Safety, and legal documentation relating to the business is up to date and that we are complying with any legislation required of us 

This is a key role where the successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. The emphasis will be on ensuring the team is well drilled into delivering consistent high levels of service to customers, whilst managing the expectations and career goals of the team.
