Senior Receptionist
Richmond Hill Hotel

Description

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Receptionist to come and join us at Richmond Hill Hotel.

Nestled in London’s greenest borough, just a stone’s throw from the Royal Park, Richmond Hill Hotel is an independently owned Georgian gem. While our building carries history, our approach is refreshingly modern – progressive, people-focused, and free-spirited. That’s why we’ve been recognised by The Sunday Times and The Caterer as one of the UK’s leading employers.

We don’t believe it takes lavishness to make someone feel special – it takes genuine care, attention to detail, and a team empowered to create memorable moments. That’s where you come in.

What’s in it for you…

  • You’ll enjoy a competitive annual salary of £27,144, plus a monthly service charge averaging £350.
  • access to hundreds of online perks & discounts
  • free health cashback plan for you and your family
  • extra day’s holiday for every year you work for us (up to 5 additional days)
  • salary sacrifice schemes to help you buy a bike, laptop, or gym membership.
  • free use of our onsite gym, meals on duty and parking on site
  • bespoke career development through internal and external training schemes
  • Refer a friend scheme, with up to £500 incentive
  • Hotel recognition Programme including our Employee of the Month and Manager of the Quarter awards, long service awards, rewards payments
  • flexible working patterns, as well as much more…

Is this Senior Receptionist role right for me?

We’re looking for a Senior Receptionist who can turn every welcome into a lasting memory. If you’re passionate about delivering genuine, thoughtful service and creating exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering a memorable welcome that sets the tone for every guest’s stay
  • Leading by example to ensure check-ins, check-outs, and reservations are smooth and stress-free
  • Handling guest enquiries, feedback, and special requests with genuine care and efficiency
  • Supporting and mentoring the reception team, helping them shine in their roles
  • Ensuring each touchpoint of the guest journey adds up to an exceptional experience
  • Responding to guest reviews and feedback (Revinate) with professionalism and warmth
  • Occasionally stepping into a Duty Manager role to keep everything running seamlessly

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a front office or reception role within hospitality
  • A natural host who thrives on delivering outstanding service
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Confidence with systems (Opera Cloud experience a plus, but training provided)
  • A team player with leadership potential and a passion for mentoring others

If you’re ready to be the first smile our guest’s see – and the lasting impression they remember – apply today and join us in shaping unforgettable journeys at Richmond Hill Hotel.

Please note that all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
