Senior Reservations Assistant
Were looking for an experienced reservations assistant that has a minimum of two years' proven reservations experience to support the reservations manager and reservations supervisor in a busy reservations office.
Duties and Responsibilities
TEAM – inspires and motivates
· Setting the tone for the team by leading by example.
· Sharing ideas and making suggestions to improve standards and procedures within the department.
· Supporting the team with queries.
· Being positive and curious in your approach to your ways of working.
· Communicating to the team any changes or updates.
CUSTOMER – putting the customer at the heart of everything
· In addition to taking reservations, leading group and third-party bookings for rooms and table by liaising between in house teams and the customers
· Overseeing special events booking · Reviewing and managing table availability
· Actioning diary settings · Supporting team training
· Taking the lead with customer issues in the absence of the supervisor or manager.
· Having excellent knowledge of our rooms, restaurants, and cookery school
· Overseeing coverage of E-commerce queries
· Coordinating guest stays, offering additional services and packages, noting guest requests and preferences.
· Identifying and recognising VIP guests,
· Demonstrating excellent sales skills
FINANCIAL - commercially minded and maximising profits
· Monitoring rates
· Supporting the businesses financial performance by ensuring maximum opportunities to grow revenue are available.
· Ensuring all maximum online availability.
· Supporting with restaurant and room weekly sales reports
· Sharing weekly financial information with the team to engage and motivate.
· Maximising occupancy for accommodation
