Job description
We’re looking for an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join us for the summer season at Rick Stein's Fish in Falmouth.

You will be responsible for supervising the front of house team, ensuring that our customers have the best service throughout their visit, you will work closely with the kitchen team and make sure that service is run smoothly.

This is a full time seasonal position.


WHAT YOU’LL BE GETTING UP TO:

- Supporting your manager in running the restaurant and maintaining high levels of customer care
- Motivating your team by listening to feedback and providing excellent support and training
- Preparing the restaurant for service by planning and delegating tasks
- Effectively communicating with your team and giving feedback on performance
- Assisting with planning rota’s for your team and arranging cover where needed


KEY SKILLS

- Awareness of customer needs and outstanding service
- Ability to effectively lead a team
- Demonstrating comprehensive company knowledge


Our restaurant in Falmouth was opened by Rick Stein and Jill Stein in 2010 serving Rick’s favourite dishes such as Amritsari fish, Cornish chilli crab and meen kulambu, a fragrant cod curry from Southern India, as well as fish and chips and daily specials. As well as the restaurant, we have a takeaway serving fish and chips, tiger prawns, fish chilli burgers, battered oysters and more.
