Tips - Between May and August our Sous Chef's at St Petros's Bistro earned on average £4.60 per hour in tips. For a full time role with us this equals to potential earnings of £207 per week (based on a 45 hour week) and up to £897 per month on top of your salary.

We’re looking for an experienced Sous Chef to support our kitchen Head Chef at St Petroc's Bistro in Padstow, Cornwall.
What you'll be getting up to:
- Leading the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef and organising others under your supervision
- Placing orders using our stock systems to ensure correct stock levels are maintained
- Controlling the kitchen from a financial and quality driven perspective
- Assisting the Head Chef with the scheduling, development and recruiting of staff
- Keeping in touch with current food trends and having an input with suggestions for the menu
Key skills
- Awareness of customer needs
- Ability to effectively lead a team
- Demonstrating strong company and menu knowledge

Parking – There is plenty of free parking available in Padstow.
Travel to work – Padstow is on the bus route from Bodmin, Wadebridge and Newquay with regular buses throughout the day.
You can cycle safely to work from Bodmin and Wadebridge to Padstow along the Camel Trail.
Uniform- We provide our kitchen teams with chef whites.
